Celebrating Kenneth Earl “Kenny” Burrell (born July 31, 1931), an American jazz guitarist from Detroit, MI, known for his Blue Note label recordings. Burrell has been a professor and Director of Jazz Studies at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
