Celebrating Peter Green (born Peter Allen Greenbaum; October 29, 1946 – July 25, 2020) an English blues rock guitarist born in Bethnal Green, London. As the founder of Fleetwood Mac, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and was a major figure in the British blues movement.
I'm an expatriate Memphis musician and an instructor at a private music college in Minnesota. I find a greater clarity in my appreciation for music from Memphis and the Mississippi Delta region, now that I've lived away from it for decades, than when I was growing up in the midst of it.
